When I was a storyboard artist and background designer at Nickelodeon, I had the opportunity to work on Hey Arnold! comics for Nickelodeon Magazine. Collaborating with story artist Sherm Cohen, I colored these two page comics. Because I did not do color work for the TV show, it was a pleasure to paint some Arnold scenes. Like the style of the backgrounds in the show, these were painted with acrylics and textured on top with colored pencils. They were published from 1996 to 1998.
