Kids Nature Comic Books

 

I created the characters of Coyote Bob and Ranger Paula for Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks' outreach department. I wrote and illustrated two comic books to both entertain and teach kids about the local environment.

Coloring Book

I also illustrated this pocket-sized folding coloring book for kids to learn about good trail etiquette.

This character illustration was turned unto a temporary tattoo for kids.

Costumes of the characters were made to greet kids at public events. Here I am with Ranger Paula.

Ranger Paula became so popular locally that kids dressed as her for Halloween.
